Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern access to and use of the EIC Controls site. By using it, the user accepts them, together with the legal notice and the privacy policy, which they form a whole with.
The site is a professional showcase aimed at companies, organisations and engineers. It requires no registration, creates no account and offers no personal area.
A quote request is not an order
The quote list is a selection of references held in the user’s own browser. Sending it is asking for a commercial proposal and nothing more.
- Sending a request is not an order, a reservation, a contract of sale or any obligation to supply.
- The site takes no payments, issues no invoices and confirms no delivery times.
- A contract exists only when EIC Controls puts a written proposal forward and it is accepted in writing, away from the site.
- EIC Controls may decline to pursue a request, in particular where the product is no longer distributed or where the intended application is not suitable.
Prices and availability
Where a price is shown on the site it is indicative and not binding: it gives an order of magnitude and may exclude taxes, transport, installation, calibration, accessories and associated services.
Availability is likewise not guaranteed by a product’s presence in the catalogue. The applicable price and lead time are only those stated in the written proposal issued by the sales team, valid for the period it sets out.
Technical specifications
The descriptions, datasheets, specification tables, photographs and documents published in the catalogue come from the manufacturers of the products. EIC Controls reproduces that information and translates part of it, but is not its author and cannot guarantee that it is complete, current or free of error.
Images may show accessories or configurations that are not included. Before any purchase, sizing or installation decision, the applicable specification must be confirmed with the sales team and against the manufacturer’s documentation in force.
The content of the site, the blog included, is informative and does not constitute technical, metrological, legal or regulatory advice for a specific case.
Correct use of the site
- Consulting, printing and saving content for internal professional use is permitted, provided the source is kept.
- Automated collection of content is subject to the policy published on the page for agents and developers; outside it, bulk extraction is not allowed.
- Interfering with the operation of the site, circumventing the submission limits of the forms or the anti-robot verification, and attempting to reach the administration area are not allowed.
- Using the forms to send unsolicited advertising, unlawful content or third-party data you have no standing to pass on is not allowed.
Breaking these rules may lead to access being blocked, without prejudice to any other legal consequence.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided as it stands. EIC Controls does not warrant the absence of interruptions or the complete and permanent correctness of the content, and may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the site.
As far as the law allows, EIC Controls is not liable for loss of profit, loss of data or indirect damage arising from use of the site, or for decisions taken on the basis of the information published here alone, without the confirmation described in the previous section. Nothing in these terms excludes liabilities that the law does not allow to be excluded, in particular in cases of wilful misconduct or damage caused to consumers.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change at any time. The version that applies to each use is the one published on this page at the moment that use takes place, carrying the review date shown at the top; reading it from time to time is advisable.
Spanish law applies to these terms, and the forum stated in the legal notice is the competent one.
