DB 20 stem increment sensor for manual reading.
It measures tree trunk circumference using a stainless band in the range from 8 cm of stem diameter. The range of circumference increment is 60 mm.
The sensor is composed of two parts – measuring part with scale and spring and from the stainless tape that is delivered as spool with 20 m of tape. When moving to another tree with smaller DBH, the sensor can be used again. Only by larger diameters only the tape must be replaced with a longer one.
